Robbie Robertson, lead guitarist and founding member of The Band passed away this past Wednesday after a long illness. He was 80 years old. RIP, Robbie :cry:

Yeah, sad we lost him. He was a great songwriter and guitar player. I have one of his solo albums and it's great.

Which one do you have Robert I have two: One is more swamp blues like what they play in the Band the other is devoted to the Native Americans with a touch of Electro, pretty intriguing record

He allways had a special voice and style I have two of his solo albums and really love both of them "Storyville" in 1991 with the fabulous song "Go back to your woods" and "Contact from the underworld" in 1998
