I don't think you'll have any trouble making friends here.
HELLO, PIEMAN! Welcome to TheFret.Net! See?:D
My tastes in music are blues, country, rock, and jazz, mostly.
How about yourself? Where are you from?
Could you tell us a little about yourself and what gear you have? Thanks!:D

Hey Pie,
Lot's of talent, knowledge, musical tastes and friendly folks here. I'm a bit short on the first 2 items and have been called tasteless. Oh well, 1 out of 3 ain't bad. Really, this is a great place to learn and share.
Welcome!

Welcome to TheFret, pie_man! Don't worry about Warren--he's pretty much harmless, unless he fires up the waffle griddle. Beat feet, if that happens, 'cuz it ain't pretty.... :D

Well, no offense intended, I assure you. You won't find a friendlier bunch than here at TheFret.
But tell us a bit about yourself--musical tastes, guitars you play, amps, other equipment, etc. If you're looking to fit in here, that's how to do it.... :DR

Maybe Pieman is the son of the a de-throwned King of Nambagondola.
Cut him some slack, he just needs help getting the family millions out of the country.
