Well this happened quite afew moons ago but i thought i'd share.
I was sleeping on my dads couch one night and had just fallen asleep. Then i woke up the a loud banging noise. Woke up went into the kitchen and looked out the windowand didnt really think much of it. The next morning we woke up and saw the damage. They had broken out the front window, in the kitchen, not sure how i didnt see it in the night. They threw a bowling ball through my dads window. and left behind a lawn nome. i went back to the other side of the house and saw what looked like a guitar i jumped for it and realized it was a bass. It a pears they used it to smash some windows out. Well it was a really bad day for my dad, but not for me. It was covered with crappy punk stickers and the neck was chared from i guess was fire or smoke. Well i cleaned it up and its actallu pretty good its a samick but i havent been able to find anything about it. It has like a pickguard like on the musicman basses. well i thought i would tell the Burnt bass story.

Wow, that is really bizaare, but what a way to acquire a new bass! Samick is made in Korea. They're decent instruments from the ones I've played. Do you see anything on the headstock that says "Gregg Bennett"?

I hope these work, I took the pickguard off it becuase there were yellow circles becuase of stickers. But it was a oval pickguard around the pup.

This bass is definitely a keeper and it has its own special MOJO going on.
Cool story, although it wasn't so cool for your dad.

The only problem That has come is the, "should we play a show with it?" Becuase of the poeple most likley would be there, most musicicans hang out there around here. But i decided why not and before we did a song i announced "if you recognize this bass meet me out back". no one showed..
