I picked her up today. Already plugged her into an amp in the store and played some licks. The feeling was great, it is so good to see that she is alive again.

My guitar tech guy has played her over the last couple days intensively - unfortunately, I had no time to pick her up earlier so he had to put her under testing circumstances for me.

I AM HAPPY!

What can I say....I can not imagine making music without her.

For the whole repair I paid 15€ = 20 USD.

Very cool Jimi. You sure saved a lot of money. Did your tech tell you exactly the kind of work they did to salvage the truss rod then?

As an aside, whenever I see "Number One" in the topic I think of Butthead saying to Beavis (while imitating Star Trek: the Next Generation), "Number One, I order you to take a number two." I don't know whether to be ashamed or thrilled that I find that funny.

Be proud. Beavis and Butthead was at least twice as intelligent watching as most of the reality crap on TV today. Sad but true. :cool:

That is super sweet and awesome news!! Congratulations on the happy result!

P.S. I kind of like Bevis and Butthead. On the surface, juvenile, but clever in its own way.
