I don't know why we don't have a Jeff Beck thread yet

So...
To start...Beck Bogert and Appice - Superstitious. The song was originally written for Jeff Beck by Stevie Wonder who after writing it decided to keep it and record it for himself.

Carmine Appice has played drums for just about everybody of note including: Dio, Cactus, Vanilla Fudge, Rick Derringer

Tim Bogert has been an instructor at the Musicians Institute and recorded with practically everyone.

Beck, Bogert and Appice is a true super group that recorded one self titled album. I practically wore my LP out listening to all great stuff on it.

Didn't Carmine also drum for Boston ? or am I thinking another hairy guy ?

Edit.. Sib Hashian.. I think they had the same barber.

That is really cool. Thanks for posting it! Is that the same talk thing Frampton used?

Jeff used the talk box WAY before Frampton but it is indeed the same thing.

I'm reviving this one!

Which Jeff Beck albums do you consider his best ones? (All of them is not an acceptable answer, Spud... :) )

Blow by Blow is pretty cool.... but I haven't heard his stuff from the late 60s.

I'm kind of partial to "Flash." I love his soloing on "Ambitious" and "People Get Ready."

this to me is what his playing is all about and there is always at least one track on any album that makes it worth the price.:whatever:

Here's one of my favorites of Jeff Beck's guitar prowess:
