Don't know if this is common knowledge, but was news to me.

For those US fretters that have not yet filed their income tax return (like me), you can still take advantage of the most wide reaching tax refund in US history.

It's not a ton of $$, 30 - 60 dollars depending, but it's easy. If you care you find all your phone bills from 2003 - 2006, it may be more. Not sure, but gonna look ours over. If you already filed, maybe you could do an amended return.

Yea Hog my accountant took advantage of that for what good it does. It astounds me the Gov't hack theives take $$ to the tune of 5 digits from my wife and I and they still want a few grand more! Ill shut up now so I dont get into the political realm. I will say I much rather be robbed at gunpoint though..........

Yeah, you could at least get dinner, a nice bouquet of flowers, a bottle of wine. It's nice to get kissed before... well you know the rest ;)

I luv tax season. On a similar note, our vehicle insurance in Saskatchewan is "Crown" (i.e. gov't) operated. They just handed out over $1 million dollars (insert Dr. Evil manical laugh here __________ :D ) in rebates. I got about $250 back for my 2003 Windstar and beat up ol' '86 Toyota pickup. Nice little shot in the arm when it's unexpected. Now about that amp...

Yea seems like small potatos, but what the heck, gotta get what we can.
The wife went thru all our phone bills last night while I was at a seminar and got us a $159 refund! She's a filer and saver. The bad news is she made it clear as she did all the work, there will be no GAS alleviation for me. Oh well, guess I'll just have to enjoy the new coffee table or whatever.
