Are there any amps that run on 12V DC?

I would like a small decent amp I could use to practice with while at work on my lunch break. I bought a few JamPlugs recently that let you broadcast over FM. They work, but the problrm is the built-in rechargable battery won't hold a charge! Now I know why they were marked down from $49 to $19 each!

I'm going to try replacing the battery but since these are molded together I most likely will break it trying to repair it. We'll have to see... any other ideas?

I guess 9v battery amps don't cut it? I was going to suggest the First Acts with the VWs but that's already been done. ;)

Well what about the Roland Micro Cubes? You can take those anywhere and they sound pretty good!

Or maybe a small 10-15w ss regular amp, might draw 15-20 watts. One of those 12vdc-110vac plug-in inverters should be able to run that without slaughtering your battery. The smaller, less expensive ones are usually rated for 120-150 watts I think.
