(I should have titled it Pickguards on a 3 color sunburst)

Ok guys here's the story. My original guard that came stock on my MIM 60s Strat was 3 ply white against a rosewood neck. Classic and pretty typical. Eventually I got tired of that look and bought me a wicked tortoise shell pickguard and DANG that looked killer. I recently bought a maple neck for that guitar and decided that the tortoise shell didn't really "go" with the maple neck so I put the original white pickguard back on. The more I look at the guitar now the more I want to change it...again. I thought of a mint guard but mint doesn't look so swell against a maple neck....BUT it looks absolutely perfect against a rosewood neck. If you were to change the pickguard what might you do? Again here are the specs...

60s 3 tone sunburst body
Satin finished maple neck
Aged pickup/knob covers

...give me some more ideas for pickguards.

How about Aged Pearl (http://www.wdmusic.com/fender_strat_reg_pickguards_in_27494_prd1.htm), Cream Pearl (http://www.wdmusic.com/fender_strat_reg_pickguards_in_27497_prd1.htm), or Yellow Cream Pearl (http://www.wdmusic.com/fender_strat_reg_pickguards_in_27498_prd1.htm)?

The Cream Pearl might actually be nice. Especially with the aged pup/knobs. I know that I've taken a perfectly good 60s Strat and made it a faux '56. I wasn't purposefully trying to make it one either. I just have a maple neck that I like and want to use it. I just saw a photo of a '56 with a cream plain pickguard and yeah that color combination looks much better than a bright white against maple and 3 color 'burst.

Yeah, they look pretty nice. Only problem is that they cost more than I paid for my last guitar and a pickup upgrade! ;) :D
