http://www.larsonjazz.com/classicstandards/index.html for a few clips. Listen to "Stompin at the Savoy" and "Deed I Do" first.

Craig Larson is a pianist originally born in Northen Idaho, the hotbed and head waters of jazz! He has played in SLC for about 30 years. Well, ok, maybe Northern Idaho is not best known for its jazz, but this quartet features some really nice jazz guitar by a guy named Frank Vignola. The piano and guitar swap leading roles often, which is cool because I can listen to the different lines the intstruments take toward the piece, and I am reminded just a little of some of our own Jim Pffeifer's work. (This may be a bit "loungier" though). Check it out!
