Gearbox / Line 6 Edit / Guitar Port

If you use any of the above to facilitate your recording process, perhaps you'd like to swap patches and settings. Doesn't have to be just for the above either. I have gigs of VST plugins that I have made custom settings to that can be shared too. Even the plugins themselves - freeware, of course :) Does this interest anyone? I thought that this would also facilitate any future collaborations if we had the same plugins - for when you export from the project to pass along to another for editing. This way it will sound as intended. Just an idea...

Good idea Pete.. we could perhaps use boxnet or even store the patch files here on thefret.net ?

I just got a toneport GX, so I'd be interested. I haven't really made any of my own tones yet, I am still exploring the presets. I like the Neil Schon tone I downloaded from the guitarport online lesson.

Here is some of my own patches, they are for PodXT or another Line6 modeler with the power pack installed.

Here is a line6 tone I really like. It is from the Ernie Isley lesson on the guitarport service. It is mostly clean when you play lightly, but gives you some nice grit when you play a little harder. I like it with the neck pickup on my strat.
