Hello everyone...

My SX Floyd Rose Strat is cool but I want to put an affordable Floyd Rose replacement bridge on it. The stock model is OK but the tremolo arm flops and just doesn't feel very stable. Does anyone know of a decent and affordable replacement that isn't made of crummy pot metal and will last?

I looked at the Guitarfetish model but the vintage tuners that I got from them were worse than the models I was replacing. I also had to wait over 4 months to get a pickup that stated it was "Guaranteed in STOCK!!!", so I'm done with them.

Thanks everyone!

I did a quick perusal, and other than Guitar Fetish, the only other floyds I found were around $170.00.

Allparts had some for $135.00 here: http://www.allparts.com/store/guitar-bridges-locking-tremolos,Category.asp

Here's a cheapie, but I do not know anything about quality, or how good they are... http://www.guitarpartsonline.com/index.php?cPath=33&osCsid=97dbf827675d211b209f09444ac1d5fe

Hope this helps!

If you have the low TRS type tremolo I can get you a replacement socket that will allow you to convert your current tremolo bridge to a pop-in Ibanez type. Never any slop then.
