I saw a demonstration of the VoiceWorks recently, and let me tell you that I was STUNNED!
This box from TC Helliot is almost to brilliant to be true... It can (with the aid of a midi connected keyboard) create insanely great multi-voice harmonies. It can even process your voice so it sounds like a pro studio singer. Just listen to the sound demos!
Your own backing choir in a box!

I hadn't seen that demo yet. That is too cool. It appeals to both the musician and the geek in me. I'd love to know what kind of processing is going on behind the scenes.

If I could sing worth a crap I could see myself gassing over something like that. I'd be a one man Eagles band.

Wow! There's still hope for those of us who are vocally challenged! OK, I'm on it. In before the rush...

Dear Santa,

Ever since I was a boy I've dreamed of singing, but sadly it's a goal I could never achieve. But now, thanks to a miracle of science my dream is finally within reach. As I've been a good boy all year (well, mostly) would you please leave a TC Helicon Voiceworks under the tree when you drop by on Christmas eve? I will be eternally greatful as will all others within sound of my voice.

Yours truly,
Bloozcat

Whadaya think? Think I got a shot? ;)

Bloozcat, you're onto something. With such a sincere request, how could it possibly fail? ;)

The hellicot that transform your voice into something useful ;)
And it can also correct your pitch, if that should be necessary.
Lets start a barbershop choir :D

Oh sorry I was talking about the Digitech unit.

As far as the other unit goes I think that's cheating. *thumbs down* What's next? A unit for guitar players that can't play?

Pretty cool, and at $350 from a brief online search, less than paying a coupla back up singers for too long. Heck, then get the looper or jam man going, and you are a one man band. Amazing!
