So...is this where all the cool people hang out?

Yeah?

Ok. I guess I'd better be leaving then.

Cool people?

There is a lot of snow where I live, does that count?

I've never been to Puttgarden on the isle Fehmarn itself, but have been very often to towns at shore of the Baltic sea, e.g. Travemünde, Grömitz, Dahme, Lübeck in the nearer Region. fehrmarn, exspecially Puttgarden is a very nice region.

Very low price on beer as well (thats why I am going there ;) )
I also want to enjoy a nice portion of saurkraut!
I love german food, especially the sausages :)

Super Swede & Guitar Chris,

You have made me both hungry and thisty. My mother is German and made tons of the sour saurkraut. She also loves her beer. I picked up the gene which entices the wanting of beer.

I lived in Fulda and have many fond memories. I'd love to get back there and to tour the rest of the country. Mein Deutsch ist so so, aber mein hunger fur bier und Brathahnchen ist immer gross.

Sorry no umlats or s-set

My residence is a nice, cool 70 degrees right now, thanks to the wonders of modern air conditioning. Does that count????

By the way, thanks for the sauerkraut and sausage reference. It's durn near 11:00 pm here, and all the stores are closed, so no late night run for some German beer, sauerkraut, or sausage. That's the one disadvantage to living in a small, rural town. :D

Sounds like a half hour drive to me. No one should go hungry when food is only a half hour away! :)

You all need to come to Boston for a weekend of bar hopping... lots of great bars and loads of great places to listen to all kinds of music! :)

Boston is awesome. Flew there for a conference one year and my wife and I had a BLAST. Great town. Great beer pubs too.
