This album sprung to my attention from my iPod this morning. Good Friday song!

A good relaxed rocker to start the weekend with. :spank: :AOK:

Letterman does a good intro here, but the vid/audio is poor quality.

I love this song. I am trying to get my band to play it.

This is a weird video though. The sound is not live, it's from the album but the mix is peculiar.

Yeah, it was the better of the two or so I looked at, but isn't great. The performance on the Letterman clip looks good, but the sound isn't that great.

The Letterman clip is much better! The sound is not great, but the performance is. Great music!

I have owned this CD since it was released, but had not listened to it in a long time. Now that I have been playing guitar a year+, I hear the song in a whole new way. Robert, it is mostly your fault I think! :spank:

BTW, this seems a very nice solo tone in the first few seconds.

Hiatt is fantastic - check out this clip about the making of Perfectly Good Guitar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2olnVYNFN4g

Glad I'm to blame, Steve!

Hiatt is awesome. Perfectly Good Guitar is a staple tune.

It was a few years before it dawned on me...remember that great album BB King and Clapton did? That kick butt tune that opened the album is a John Hiatt song "Riding With The King." I'd been listening to Hiatt do it for years and thought there was something familiar with the Clapton/King tune. duh:thwap:

We have that CD at home. Bought it for my wife as a gift some time back. Probably need to put that one in this weekend too.
