So cool that you posted this, as I was just watching an on-line interview with Mark Farner (one of my personal favorites growing up) and he was discussing West. Never saw the "Funk" live, but Mark is still quite active. Saw him over the summer doing a festival gig here in the DEE troit area. Man, he still has the vocal chops!

Mark Farner from Grand Funk Railroad used and still uses those amphs. He mentions it in this great video interview.

I've never seen one myself but I've always loved Mark's guitar sound.
