Very nice Link you found there Spudman.

It has a nice 'Level 42' vibe to it

Thought this was an excellent backing... till I tried to figure something to go with it..lol...

Lev, for a rough cut... I enjoyed it...wish I could be that rough!

here is my screaching rat trying to get something going...it sounds much better in my own head..but a fun backing track and hey, thats what the fret.net is about huh... just putting up the sounds... and finding our way..

Here is my (1)st take on this excellent backer. I made it after a delicious gyros supper (with half a bottle of really good white wine from Croatia).

This is also a very rough track, but I plan to "refine" this melody line and record something more organized later.. haha..
I wont apologize since Tone2TheBone doesnt allow me to do that :p

Great job everyone. Really nice to hear the personality come out in your playing. Everyone is so distinct.

SS Is that your Schecter?

Who else?

After all the talk on the other thread about 'how long' I started having "one of those moments." Needless to say I mustered.

Guys, all of you have posted some wonderful clips!:AOK: I'm the newest member here, so i don't feel quite confortable with suggesting things...but... it would be really helpful to drop a line or two about the gear that was used in these recordings. Just a thought…

OLP Luke model guitar>Vamp Pro>Cubase LE

I just upgraded to Cubase 4 and I can't get all my inputs working yet otherwise I would have used a Pod XT. Swede gave me some really nice Pod patches.

Another Spudtastic recording! I really dig your tone on this one!

Mine was Schecter C-1 Elite > Sansamp GT2 > Garageband with some verb and slight delay.

Fender US Deluxe HSS Strat -> Digitech Expression Factory -> PODxt (Bad Horsie Patch) -> Cubase LE

I love it! Great tone guys and thank you. I know very little about home recording, so I'm learning quite a bit here!:AOK:

Cool backing track dude!!
Here is a quick take. I used my Prototype one off Grover Jackson handbuilt Washburn through my Fender Prosonic and added a little verb on the mixdown from the board.

Nice ear candy from everyone, thank you! A special word on our new friend Ascension: I really like your Beck-like tone.
