Yes, one my dreams will come true!!! :)
I will soon be a proud owner of a Gibson ES335 !!!!
I say "will be", because I bought the guitar through ebay (it's a used one - 2002 model) and the seller just shipped it to me.
I feel VERY ANXIOUS to get this beauty on my hands :

I'm so jealous! I love 335's. When you get it send us some pictures and some recordings of it. Congratulations on the new axe! It looks like you're getting a really good one.

Elavd, Conngrats!
It’s a real beauty. And the maple flame…just the way I like it. Not too much not too little.
Robert, go for one! You'll make that pretty thing melt in your hands.

Elavd, I'll second what Adrian30 said--that is one gorgeous axe!! I played an ES335 for a few months back in 1978, lived with a blues player who had one, and they are to die for!! The action on his was smooth and low, and yet he constantly complained about it needing a good setup. I can't imagine it could have improved the playability or sound, though--it was as close to electric guitar perfection as I've ever had in my hands.
Looking forward to hearing more about it (and from you on it!).

She's a honey to be sure! Nice Larry Carlton clip too :Dude:

Can't wait to hear it.
Trev
P.S. Hey Robert, it'd be about time you got some "class" and picked up a nice 335-ish git. I'd like to hear what you can do with a set of 13's and a wound G-string  I'm guessin' it would be very soulful and jazzy.
Me, I just crank 'er and let 'er rip and try to hang on at the edge of feedback control :beavisnbutthead: :R
Here's me with my Cherry Red HB-30...

Not to hijack Elavd's thread, cause that is one beautiful guitar, but I love that shot of you Trev. Knowing that you like a little Rockabilly (ala the Kingbees), I can just imagine you hanging on that edge, and maybe crossing over once or twice just because.:munch: :saw:
Elavd, can't wait to hear how yours sounds. :AOK:

way to go E! My first electric was an ES-135, and it remains my fav instrument to play. Nothing else quite has the same tone as a Gibson semi-hollow archtop. I wish you years of joy with it.:AOK:

SUH-WEET, E-man!! Every serious player should have a 335-type, IMO. Just a classic axe! That one's a beaut!!
