I am getting shape, I tell ya. I ran a local 8 kilometer race today, and I won it in 27:10. That is one of my faster times in many years over this distance, so things are definitely looking positive for my upcoming marathon in Las Vegas in 2 weeks!
My wife is dressing up as Elvis for this marathon. Very cool. They are trying to break the world record in having the most "Elvises" run in a marathon. :Dude: Let's hope they break that record.

Going to work in the morning there are places that I can't drive 8K in 27:10. Congratulations on the win, and your hard work to earn it!:AOK:

Congratulations! I think I remember reading a while back you were having an achilles problem or something...I guess you've overcome that obstacle?

Thanks guys, yes some injuries are sometimes hovering over me, but so far I'm staying ahead of them... The achilles is fine for the moment.
