Here's a clip of a player I like a lot - Mike Landau. :Dude:

Check out his technique. He uses his right hand fingers a lot. His recent Live album is really good, if you want to buy some of his music - http://www.abstractlogix.com/xcart/product.php?productid=21704

He use to play with James Taylor, didn't he? I've heard about him for years but never really listened to his solo work. This song reminds me of John Scofield. Espescially from his Uberjam cd. I like this video.

Yep, Mike likes 'buckers in the bridge position. I think he used Tyler guitars quite a bit, but also some Suhrs. "Strat copies", if you will! Haha!

Yes, he used James Tyler (http://www.tylerguitars.com)strat copies. Check out the custom finishes on their website. With names like Burning Water and Psycedelic Vomit you can't go wrong.
