Pes,

Cute pups. Dreadman will enjoy seeing the pics. I think he use to raise the same breed and if I'm not mistaken he still has a couple.

Don't let them pee or chew on your guitars.

What beautiful pups, pes_laul!

I love Siberian Huskies...

We once owned a piece of property with a house and an efficiency apartment on it. A girl moved into the efficiency with a cat and a Siberian Husky. This girl should not have owned pets, as she was as irresponsible as one could be. To make a long story short, I ended up caring for the dog most of the time because the girl was hardly ever around. She'd even go out of town without saying anything before leaving.

That dog attached himself to me (and my wife), and he went everywhere with me. After a short while, he wouldn't respond to commands from his "owner" unless I told him it was ok. When she would call him, he'd look at her and then come to me. The girl acted as though she was devastated, but it was her own fault for not caring for the dog. I believe the dog was actually smarter than she was...or at least he acted like it.

When she moved out we pleaded with her to leave the dog with us. She said that she couldn't leave her dog, and despite the dog's howling and whimpering, she took him with her. I never saw the dog again. He probably died of lonely neglect.

Ever since then I've had a soft spot for Siberian Huskies...

:AOK: Beautiful! I love those dogs! They had a little trouble with the Cougs in the final minute last Saturday, but I still love them. Nice looking pups!

+1 for the college football hijack Steve!

To further hijack, I was able to take my oldest boy (10) to his first big game over the weekend, using my folks' tickets that they kindly gave up. Now living in Idaho, I had not been for years. I graduated in 85, and kept going to games until we moved in the late 90s. Those were the years! Saturday, it was just as big a scene as always but even bigger! He climbed on the Montlake climbing wall with his cousin before the game, then we headed in to great seats in the old alum section on the south side. It was a great game, and that Locker is amazing to watch. His runs were amazing, and his passes spot on. But the receivers could catch only 1 of 10 or so it seemed. :poke: The Husky secondary started looking vulnerable too, and the Cougs took advantage, ending with the TD pass to break the tie in the final minute. ARRRRG! It was a FUN game to watch, and the above pups had an older relative there howling off and on the whole game! I gotta love those Huskies, even now. :)
