How to report a bad post

If you see bad posts on this forum, please report them to me. Don't use private messaging though. Instead, do this.

There is a little icon that looks like this http://www.thefret.net/images/buttons/report.gif on the left, below the user's name and details. Click on it and describe what the problem is. This will alert me faster than you can say Las Vegas, and I'll remove the bad post and ban the user forever.

Bad post? How does one determine that and what if the person reporting the bad post just has a vendetta against the poster?

Come on guys I think what Robert is saying is to post that icon thingy on posts which contain offensive links and or references. Flag those types of posts so that he can delete them and then delete those spammers from the membership list. I don't think he means bad posts in the way you and overdrive are interpreting them as strum.

I figured that since a special post was made, that maybe there was or is an issue somewhere.

So for the most part we are talking about the ones that get through the screening process.

Yes, I am talking about how to report them. Some leave a PM for me, some send email, some start a new thread about it, etc. Use just one method - the one I described.

Sometimes spammers sneak through my screening process, and you may see these spammers before I do, so if you do and want to report it so I can remove it, use the process described. Hope that is clear enough now.
