Our first gig went better than I ever would have thought! We had a packed house and everyone had a good time. We were spot-on tight and sounded as good as we ever have. It was a great way to get back into the game.......:D

I see that you played with your Johnson in public.

I'm happy to hear that it went well!

Thanks, Warren. The SG is truly green. The LP photographs strangely. In person, it's more of a turquoise than a real green, but yes.............................it surely looks like I have a thing for green guitars. :D

What?! You have a little Johnson? :D

Kudos to you for getting a gig. I'm envious, but I'm also curious, was the most popular drink mixer there Geritol by any chance? :rotflmao:

It was definitely an older crowd than I was expecting, and we're definitely not playing music targeting that crowd. I guess the dinner special was oysters and the diners stayed to have a good time. :D Anyhow, the house was happy and we're booked again on the 28th. As long as we can keep the place packed to closing, I'm happy.

Heck of a place for one to keep their Johnson. I'm sure it must be big though in order to propel that boat.;)

Thanks for the pics, Plank. Looks like a good time, nice to hear you'll be playing more gigs too. The Gibsons look great onstage, looks like everybody was having fun, probably enjoying that Johnson.....:rotflmao:

What was the set list Plank? All covers, or did you have an original or two sprinkled in?

Congrats Plank! The pictures look great and your guitars look super cool.
it is good to hear that you played ina packed house and the band was tight! There is nothing worse than an untight band.

Looks great, thanks for posting pics. Pictures of gigs are always fun for all us, aren't they!

That SG is sweet. Wait, what was that? I smell GAS!

That Marshall half stack looks mighty inspiring too, I have to add.
