I see a bunch of snow flakes on my monitor today. I think it broke. :pancake:

Judging by the way your Cheesocaster looks it is no wonder.

My system is having a hard time running with the snow going on.

Your monitor now broke your computer too? Is the computer being sluggish?

Cheesocaster in cheddarburst.:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I like the snow and I'm not noticing any difficulties with my system (OS X).

Ok, I'll remove it if I get enough complaints.

Hey Robert, don't remove the snow dude, I kinda like it. Plus, this is probably the closest we'll get to snow in Waco this year!:AOK:

Wow, is it really slowing you down that much? Oh that's right, you can't read this until the snow clears.

Maybe it's time to sell that Commodore 64:D

I hate to be a party pooper, but:

Ditto for me. I'm running a Dell with a 2 GHz processor and 1 gig of memory.

I have to log into the site in Firefox with the script killer addon to view the pages quickly.

I was thinking this may be due to slow systems..

But I just checked the snow with IE under vista basic on a laptop 1.6 ghz and there is no slowdown.. just as quickly running..

Makes me wonder what else is running on those systems?

Or if dialups? which should not effect it once the scripts been loaded..

But in anycase.. anything that makes thefret.net less enjoyable should be excluded.. except myself ofcourse..;)

Dunno..... some days, especially lately, it takes forever to load up TheFret, other times, quick as a flash. No-one else had mentioned it....that I know of..just thought it was at my end....:whatever:

You guys gotta get rid of those Commodore 64 and Atari 400.

Which model do you have, so I can configure the snow script?

I have a fast system. I can't do anything on a page until the snow starts. Prior to that everything is frozen. My cursor is wigging out too. I'm having n problems on any site but thefret.

That symptom I am getting also, but still nothing seems to have slowed down.

Hey, the snow is slowing down, has the storm passed?

Actually, the snow is slowing my surfing down enough to be annoying too . . .

Darn, I like it but not if Spud can't come and play. Like I said over in another thread:

Yeah, us here in Canada like to share the misery.

Misery? No. Wonder, beauty, quiet kisses from Heaven, really fun stuff to blow up in your face off your knees and thighs as you rip down the fall line, Yes!

Eskimos have some huge number of words for different types of snow. I would get along with that view of the world. :D

I like the snowflakes! Thanks Robert! :AOK:

But, if Spud and others can't come and play, then I guess we better get out the snow blower.

P.S. This is on our new home iMac, 2.4 Ghz, running OS X Leopard. I am currently viewing using Safari.
