Can the powerblock handle that?

Can the powerblock handle that?

I doubt it. The knobs stick out. The Vintage they tossed has the controls recessed. Anyway, my luck it would be like a boomerang and come back and hit me in the knobs.

If I breathe on my Mesa without brushing my teeth I have to replace the tubes.

Don't know about my YCV-40..... but the older Traynors....probably.
They weren't dropped w/ tubes in them, but they were dropped a little further.....:D
You can still find them on thE 'bay now and then, but I think those savvy Canadians have most of them stashed away somewhere...

Here's a quote from an article about Pete Traynor in the good old days.

``My Marshall was always blowing up, so I got a Traynor,'' Bride reminisces. ``It was a cool little thing, somewhere between Marshall and Fender. The best thing was that it was made in town.''

And talk about rugged. To test the strength of his products, Traynor would throw them from the roof of a three-storey building.

``That way I knew for sure,'' he says. ``If it didn't work when the tubes were replaced, we knew there was something wrong. Amps on stage have to be able to fall that far. I made each one that way.

And here's a link to the entire article, if you'd like to read about one (of many:D ) amazing Canadians.

This is why I love Canada...tossing amphs off a 3 story building just sounds like good beer to me, and I love good beer. So if Canadians like good beer and tossing amphs then it must be a great place. It might even rival Sweden.
