The bass player of our band gave me the leadsheet of "Under the bridge" from Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The chord voicings are not all very known to me, but with a little practise I managed this.

No the problem: The original song has a 8 bar intro played only by the guitar. I have one tab, where this intro is noticed with capodaster in 2nd fret. This way it is no problem, but then you have to take the capo away for the song, because there's a Fmaj7 chord in 1st fret.

Other tabs are noticed without a capo, but ther finger sets of these are much too difficult to me.

Any hints from you?

(Ok, we can let the intro away, but that's not so cool  )

When I learnt to play it, the lowest note was a F#, not a Fmaj, and it sounds pretty damn right the way i play it. My suggestion is simply not to use a capo. Although it makes some of it easier, it creates more problems later in the song, considering you need some open strings near the end ;)

Matt

Edit: actually yeah the lowest is Fmaj. My bad...
