Just some updated pictures of a few of my favorites from the collection.

First up is my #1 - 2005 Fender Jimmie Vaughan Signature Stratocaster.
All stock except for replacement parchment pickguard and aged creme plastic.

Next up is my 1997 Fender Lonestar Stratocaster. This guitar has had the two Texas Special single coil pickups replaced with DiMarzio Virtual Vintage Blues and HS2 pickups. The last tone knob is push/pull to tap the original Duncan Pearly Gates. The original pearloid pickguard was changed to B/W/B.

Here we have my 1983 Kramer Pacer Imperial. This was bought brand new for me by my father. One of the best guitars I have ever owned. It's still all stock save for the replaced speed knobs for those curled metal ones. This guitar was never babied and, in fact, was my sole guitar for at least 6 years. It still looks amazing after all these years.

Next is my 1997 Schecter California Custom Pete Townsend (PT). I got this over the summer from someone who posted it on Craigslist. I had been tracking down a perfect specimen since the early 90s. This guitar is absolutely flawless. I don't think the previous owner ever played it. This is all stock with all black hardware.

Lastly, for now, is my 2006 Ibanez RG1570. I straight-traded this at Sam Ash for my Brian Moore i9.13 guitar. I love the 5 piece Wizard neck on this. It plays extremely well and does great for hard rock tunes.

Thanks R of G. I was hoping to score one of the earlier models with the tele headstock. They're very hard to find as their owner's don't seem to want to part with them :) The guitar is very versatile but really excels at hard rock - as you would expect from the size of the pickup's pole pieces.

Stingx, I keep coming back to that Jimmie Vaughan Signature Stratocaster. If you ever decide that thing needs to take a road trip, let me know and I'll send you a map to my house.

At some point I will add a Stratocaster and that is definetly the color I want.

She's a GAS producer:AOK:

It's time to clean your monitor Strummy, I have the yucky feeling that you may have inadvertently touched it trying to look closely at those novels. :D

StingX, I love the sound of that Jimmie Vaughan when you play it. How would you describe those Tex Mex pups?

Thanks. A short description would be sweet but noisy. :rotflmao:
I'm going to shield up the guitar a bit better to see if it helps. It's not bothersome when jamming only when recording.
