I found this on Fat Wallet dot com this morning and thought I would share it with my fellow Fretters!

Cosmic, Baby. Musician's Friend has some amazing prices on these guitar muti-effects processors from Korg. The AX5G and the AX3G are multieffects processors for electric guitars. The main difference between the units appears to be the inclusion of a pedal on the AX5G. The AX5G is $39.99, the AX3G is $29.99.

I bought the AX3G to tool with months ago. It was like $40. I still use it. There are some nice tones in there and they sound good.

I got the price matching at a local store and got the one with the expression pedal and love it. I keep my RP-350 hooked up to my computer recording and PA system and use the Toneworks for playing thru amps.

I really like it.

I just got the AX3G. At $29, I was unable to restrain myself. What are your opinions on the factory presets? I think they are so horrid and noisy it is hilarious. I spent some time tinkering with creating my own presets and I find that the noise reduction feature needs to be turned up pretty high, but I am indeed getting better results. I am running the unit on 9v power from my one-spot adapter. Could battery power be any different?

Just got my AX5G today, and are there a lot of sounds in this little box. Does anyone have any favorite self-programmed channel set-ups they'd like to share?

If you enjoy the AX3 & 5 please consider checking out the AX10g. Super easy to program! I still havent been able to find a unit that does a better AC15 simulation. Highly recommended! :)

I had the AX-5B. The bass unit wasn't that good.
Guitar players get all the goodies.

I like the AX5G so much I took back my Yamaha Magicstomp acoustic and got an AX4A acoustic. It is really neat. I play a Seagull S-6 20th aniv. into a new Crate Gunnison sixty watt two channel amp. Nice amp. Also, the sonic stomp sonic maximizer is really great.
