One word to describe this beefy powerhouse.....WOW!
I got one that was new old stock made in the USA.
350 watts stand alone, 400watts with an 8ohm extension, and 450 watts with a 4ohm extension. I think im going to go with the 8ohm GoliathIII JR. for an extension cab so not to push the power amp too much. Lets face it, if you can't cut a gig with 400 watts plus a house reinforcement, you might as well quit!
I have to say the suboctave effect on this amp is the best octave effect Iv'e played EVER! It tracks a LowE, D, and C ! Glitch free! This amp is a air moving bottom machine. 1X15 with a 4 inch horn! I can't wait to gig with it.

Cool, SWR make some good stuff. That sounds like a fun amp.

This amp is the cousin to the REDHEAD. Where the RedHead is primarily for slappers, the Black Beauty is for bottom dwellers. Finger and Pick style. Both amps are 350watts the Redhead a 2X10 with horn the Beauty a x15 with horn.

Yea that's right folks, had to return it. The Heat sink started rattling something terrible! I tightened every screw and it did nothing! So, I went back to " Old Reliable" A Peavey Combo 115. 200 watts stand alone into 4 ohms, 300 watts with extension speaker. You live and learn! :thwap:
