New from Blackheart for NAMM: Handsome Devil 15 watter. Looks to be an AC15 type amp.

Im likin these,cause MOJO will have a point to point board for these to,Its like my little Honda Crx it came with a 98 hp motor, I built up a different one and now she puts 200 hp to the ground I like choices.Sumi

Wouldn't you just take it off like you did your Peavey? ;) :D I would! It does suck. Amph looks cool though.

Those little ampfs look awesome. This is a great time to be a guitarist with so much budget tube goodness out there. I'd go for either the smaller mini-stack or smaller combo.

Man, if I could find a blem or used one of those I'd be all over it like white on rice.

All my tube heads are in the 40W-60W range.

I'm going to have to read up on these amps. They're looking pretty cool. I'm not surprised though, since it's Pyotr Belov who's the designer.

Looks like Pyotr has moved and downsized from his "two car garage in Long Beach, California", to a "one car garage in Austin Texas".

After I learn some more about the line, I think I'll e-mail Pyotr. He was great to talk too when he contacted me about the Epi Blues Custom 30. Great guy who loves to talk about amps. He called me from his "two car garage" in California last year, and as we were discussing the amp, he was swapping out tubes and giving me the specs over the phone. Is that great, or what?

I'm looking forward to this one. The Handsome Devil looks like a cross between a Vox AC15 and a Marshall 18W circuit. At $299 it becomes less of a good deal for modding, but I'm already thinking of putting in a petode preamp like the EF86 channel of an AC15. Love those small signal pentode preamp tubes.
