Rumor has it this pedal gives you a "down to earth" tone, sort of like the "brown sound". It works splendid for "roots rock". :dude:

This pedal kinda grows on you as well... ;) :bravo:

It's not very reliable and yes it eats batteries.
This pedal is also a classic case of planed or engineered obsolescence. It's worse than the DL4. It goes bad on an even more consistent basis.

The good thing is that it's point to point and has a high capacitance, but the sprout is more apparent than the Squier 51 necks.

What pedal is it? If there is a pic posted it's blocked from sight here.

As long as you have a zinc input and a copper output plug, it makes its own electricity and needs no batteries or adapter.....;)

I hear that if they get too hot, they literally cook. Gotta be careful with the level on that one.

I sense a new avatar for someone. He's not on right now. Robert, quick, super-moderate him and change out his avatar before he is back!

The orange ones are bigger but not necessarily better. Supposedly they have the vision mod already.

Boxcar Willie had a hit using the pedal with his "Live From Montana" version called "I Only Have Eyes For Ewe." It was recorded in an earth covered quonset hut by the great French producer d'Fries.

Big OOPS! One thing I just found out about the housing...you can't really mash it. It's not that durable and now I'm forked.

Hey, can I save shipping and have you just bring one next time you're over? Don't they produce those pedals right there locally in your section of our lovely state?
