I'm sure that these are too rich for my blood, but they sure look interesting. VOX Virage guitars:

Make sure to click the Virage Microsite link. There's some great shots of the construction of the guitars & some d@mn good clips. The ergonomics look wonderful. The pups are called 3-90s which appears to have 3 blades. Each has a 3-way toggle clean-crunch-lead that were designed to be single coil-P90-humbucker. Time will tell how well this works.
In any case, I'm glad that VOX is back making guitars.

Those do look really nice! Surprised they aren't making a retro Mark III teardrop style or hexagonal phantoms too, to ride the wave of retro marketing.

They have a 25 1/8" scale. Here is where they fit in the scheme of things.
Gibbys: 24 3/4"
PRS: 25"
VOX Virage: 25 1/8"
Fender: 25 1/2"
Soloway Swan: 27"
Never heard of a Soloway? Well you should. They are a boo-teek handmade guitar that is waaaaay too expensive for me. But, I really like the fact that they are playing with a different scale length & by all accounts getting great results.

Another Virage press release. Still no info on country of manufacture or price.

Nice thread, tatertot-tot......... these guitars look very, very nice. Be interesting to see the prices.
I noticed the pedal collab. Vox is doing w/ J. Satriani in your link, also.
Wonder what it'll cost to use the very exact same effects pedals Joe himself uses?
