Specifically, the Roland Cube 60 versus the Vox AD50VT. The Roland has been getting really good reviews and I know a lot of you love the Vox VT line. Pros/cons???

To be honest, I think you've got to play both to make a decision. Both are very good amps. This forum leans slightly towards the Vox amps if I remember correctly...
Happy hunting

the Vox with that tube sounds more organic/natural (less digital) to my tired ears

Try both. I found the Cube a little boxy (OK, a lot boxy) when I was last amp shopping. The VOX was much more open and full sounding. The Cube is much more compact though. One thing I don't like about the Cube is that the only clean tone available for channel switching is the JC model. With the VOX you can set up a three channel rig with the optional footswitch and store effects for each channel.
