Here's something I worked on with folks at another site. A little out of my comfort zone, which is why I did it. Not thrilled with the playing, but like the Strat/Mesa tone and the tone from my old brass slide. See what you think.

I like it, it has a nice sound to it.:AOK:

BTW, I like the new avatar - did you start those from seed or are they transplanted Ukuleles and Mandolins?

Thanks. Yup, started 'em from seed packets, lots of water and fertilizer. They're at the opposite end of the yard from the amp tree.

Some rose pedals would be nice to add to the mix.

Good thought. I'll plant them right next to the string tree.

You have a string tree? Nice! If you are lucky you should be able to start picking ripe & fresh 010 strings soon! The 046 usually matures in late august here but your climate might allow picking as early as June?

And the track, playing and tone was good too! Do you still have the backer?

Happy to accommodate a fellow gardener's request, SuperSwede. Find the BT for Slightly Fused on the BT list.

Fun sounding BT Helliot, and I like what you did with it. I like the repeating ideas and phrases. The BT is faster than anything I have really played on, so I may need to practice with it too. Way out of my comfort zone for sure.

I would love to see a pic of that amph tree! Does it blossom at just the right time into screaming solos? :pancake:

Great tune, helliott, and nice slide work!:bravo:
I always enjoy your playing, and the tone and production you use!:AOK: :AOK:

(Just in case the garden does well, you might want to start a few strap vines.)

Outstanding take on this Swede! I loved your tone and touch. Much more of a rock/fusion contemporary sound than mine. Just really cool. :bravo:

Anyone else gonna give this one a spin?

Helliot, that was a pretty good take! It reminded me of very old Jeff Beck.
The atmosphere was deifnitely late 60's very early 70's - some Italian cop movies used such instrumentals often as soundtrack music.

I like it a lot - it's different - it's good.

Very nice, OG. My favourite parts of your take: the speed change from quarter notes to more spacey stuff, the modulation transition in, especially in the first time, and the switch to chords at the end. Didn't see that coming, and enjoyed the surprise.

Nice OG! I love the fluidity of your playing.

Fluidity. That's a good description.
And Jimi, thanks for the link to old films. Never hit me until you said it, but it's right on. Hey, I'm not only retro, but more stylishly, Eruro retro. I may need some new clothes.
