View Full Version : What model is Keith Richards' Guild acoustic?

I've seen Keith Richards playing an old Guild guitar on the Bigger Bang tour, usually on "Wild Horses" (sorry, I couldn't find an online picture but I'm sure the Rolling Stones fans here will know what I'm talking about :) ).
Does anyone actually know the exact model that guitar is? Does Guild still make it?

Wow. I wasn't aware Guild made/had made such a guitar...
(Strum2, I hate to say this, but that's not very kind for monkeys)

It's a custom-build for Keef. Since he uses a customized open-G tuning with only 5 strings (no 6th) on a bunch of things, this 10-string gives him a '12-string' version of that tuning with octaves on 3 pair.
