The issue with these amps is that Fender chose to use 1/4W resistors in the amp instead of 1/2W.
I'm not trying alarm anyone, because the amp will work well and will be safe to use, but these underrated resistors may cause a problem on down the line.
If it were my amp, I would replace the 1/4W resistors with 1/2 rated ones. I would replace the 12AX7 plate loads with 100k, 1W metal film resistors. I found a brand at Mouser (http://www.mouser.com) that are indeed 1W rated, but are the size of 1/4W resistors.
Of course, this will mess with your tone, so if you really like the stock tone of your amp, wait until it develops problems before replacing (if it ever does.)
