Some questions asked the last couple of days re: tone & breakup at low volume on the Peavey Delta Blues amp(h) I just bought. Here's a couple of short clips inspired by (1) EC ca. 1967, (2) Pete Townshend ca. 1971, and (3) nothing in particular, though I did get a little Allman Bros. riff in there to start with.

These were all recorded at a volume setting of less than 2 (out of 12). The first two are recorded on the Lead channel with a PRE (gain, I guess) setting of 8. Gives some nice overdriven tones even at low overall volume, I think. The clean clip was done on the Normal channel with the volume just under 2.

Nice tones, Voodoo. I think I may have try the settings for your "woman tone" out on my Classic 30 - I especially like that one. BTW - you didn't mention which guitar(s) you were using, but I'm assuming it was your Les Paul on the "woman tone".

Man, that SD '59 on the neck is nice, ain't it? I use mine all the time, and just love the tone it gets.

I like the clean sounds you get on the Peavey especially with the LP. *thumbs up*
