And it's a definitive improvement, at least to my ears. the Tele-like twang/jangle that I wanted is now there! Lots of upper mids, low output, lots of definition, it contrasts a LOT compared to the dark Revtron--something I really love! The middle position is to-die-for, and of course, the bridge is so rock 'n' roll, much more than the stock pickup, which was too similar to a P90...Not that I dislike P90's--they're my favorite pup, but I already have a CK 290, so no need to have a "duplicate" sound.
Here are some pics. :)

I'm in love with the Buckshot all over again! And yeah, I know, the resale value, with the swapped neck and pup, is s**t, but you know? Frankly, my darlin', I don't give a damn!
:D
Here's a quickie clip of it... (http://cyberjamarchive.com/uploads/Music-Member/kerc_buckshot_lipstick.mp3) Reverend Buckshot, through Rocktron Short Timer delay, into Amptramp custom Blackface amp, recorded with a Nady RSM4 ribbon mic. No EQ or compression performed.
This clip lacks a bit more "depth" than the real-life sound, but I'm still messing with mic positions, etc, with my recording setup. It does show the much clearer, "treblier" tone of the lipstick. I switched settings around for each 12-bar section: Bridge with BC up, then bridge and neck, bridge and neck with BC rolled off, bridge with BC rolled off.
