Nice performance and great guitar playing with that famous Fender tone. I have a lot of fun with my jam buddies when we do these 12-bar blues tunes.

Very nice, Jipes!:bravo:
I like the fact that you have quiet passages in your solos, and don't just play full throttle all the time, you lay back and give it feeling. :AOK:
Nice playing and singing. Thanks for sharing that with us!

Hey Jipes,

That was a relaxed and intense performance at the same time. It is nice that you play with dynamics and make full use of the instrument that way.

Very good! Could watch it over and over again.

Great tone and playing, Jipes. I like your singing, too. Just goes to show that the blues is universal.:AOK:

Loved it!

Particularly the way you don't feel you have to fill up every beat with notes. I also echo what others have said about that great Fender tone.

What's your gear on this clip?

Jimi 75--->That's one of the thing that I love in playing blues you can breathe ;)

Katastrophe--->Thanks Man, singing and playing is hard to me even after all theses years. I tend either to do one or the other better at a time

Birv2--->Thanks ;)

On this concert I have the Fender Concert Amp (1963) a Fender reverb unit reissue, a Fender American 57 strat reissue and two stompboxes
an old Ibanez ST-9 Super Tube Screamer for the lead and a late 80's Ibanez TS-10 Tube screamer for certain rythmn parts

My guitar for the slide part is a Fender Esquire Telecaster (made in Japan)

you can see the amp a bit more in detail and the strat in a small clip here (http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=uipIExU9-Rg)

Thanks a lot Man ;) The little amp is actually playing quite a good part in the great tone it's a Laney LC15 (all tubes).

As for the Telecaster it has a neck pickup which was added by the salesman of the shop where I bought it, but I have no idea what's the brand of it, all I know is that it sounds really warm :AOK:

Yeah, the extra pup had me confused.

Apparently all the Japanese Esquire bodies have the cavity ready for both pickups when they come out of the workshop that's what the salesman told me at that time I don't know if it's also the case for the american Esquire
