All things funk belong here.:AOK:

I've had the pleasure of working with many good funk bands and it is just bloody infectious music. It's fun to play, gets your booty shakin' and everyone has a good time.

I thought I'd start with a classic: Was Not Was - Walk The Dinosaur

There is a little youtube button top right on the posting window. Click on it and it will put the youtube code tags in the posting window. Only copy the letter/number string in the youtube URL after the = sign and paste it between the youtube code tags.

Moshe, you got one of my all time favorites - Jungle Boogie. Kool & the Gang had another funk hit I liked - "Hollywood Swinging". Here it is:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kz2evj6YfS4&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kz2evj6YfS4&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

And, of course, ANYTHING from Mother's Finest! How 'bout a little "Mickey's Monkey":
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DV0yp61MtSY&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DV0yp61MtSY&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
