I remember him in skin-tight pants, with his signature Ibanez guitar (which was one of the best signature guitars imho) and a cloud of aerosol hairspray around him...

He still knows how to handle that guitfiddle tho... :R

"Strangling a chicken" I love it! Good thoughts about playing eh.

Here's Frank a long time ago.

Great clip.

I love what he says about the Blues being good for teaching you phrasing, good bending and vibrato technique, etc.

What a great sound he's getting. I wonder what amp he used.

I think his current haircut is kool and cutting edge.

Very smooth, effortless playing...I wish I could do that. Play so relaxed. :thwap:

I used to be very influenced by Frank. He is a bad motha at sweep picking. He plays some insane lines when he gets going!

He can obviously play slower, calmer and with great feeling too.

I still have a book he wrote from 1985 ( i bought it in the 1990s) it is called speed picking. All we had back then was books and cassettes.I really never got into Franks playing,I never got into all that fast playing but I really like that vid of him stringin some blues.Sumi
