The jazzy nature of the guitar solo in this song caught my ear on the way in this morning. I missed this album when it was released. Busy having kids back then. I posted first a photo montage of the studio version, then because you do not see them live much, a live clip I found. Pretty decent performance, though the back up vocals miss something part way through. Cool song! I think I have to go find a copy of this.

EDIT: The lyrics are political. I was focusing on the musical structure of the song and the solo though. ;)

Great solo. Who's that playing?

Walter Becker, when I look at the live clip. The album lists Walter Becker, and two other guitarists, . I could be wrong, there are a couple of other guitarists listed. Paul Jackson Jr., Hugh McCracken, Dean Parks, buy you can see a guitarist playing the solo in the live clip, and it appears to be Walter Becker.
