I just picked up my first Strat :D and my local store had Peavey Rage 158s on clearance for $60, so I already have a small amp to play with...but of course, things always look good AFTER you spend money on something else. Can someone tell me they're crap so I feel better? :thwap:

H & K solidstate amps generally sounds very good. I havent tried the edition blue myself but the blonde sure sounds warm.

I WANT a Statesman Quad EL84! Ok that was off topic, but at least it was about a Hughes and Kettner. If their solid states sound good like their tube amphs, I bet it will be a great little practice amph.
