View Full Version : Whatever happened to PRS CE Mahogany?

I always thought the PRS CE Mahogany to be the most reasonable and valuable guitar PRS made. A "working man's" instrument, without the fancy extras, with good tone and a great price for a guitar of this quality.

During the past several months, I have seen them disappearing from online stores, etc, especially in Europe. What's the deal with those? Are they to be replaced by the new Mira?

Does anybody has any relevant info?

They're still on the website as current production models. Maybe they are phasing them out for the new Singlecut trem model. That Mira's really nice but it is quite a different guitar to the CE.

Thank you Mark!

Yes, I've seen them on the website, but they seem to be invisible here in Europe (I mean, "real" music stores, ebay, online stores, and the like).

Are they still widely available in the US?

I see them pretty often at the local Guitar Center.
