This is an awesome story Steve. I first heard of this Gentleman and his Son about two years ago. A friend of mine at work told me he once ran in the same marathon as them. When he caught up to them around the 25 km (15 mile ) mark, the noise from the crowds cheering them was almost deafening.

Like Algonquin, I first heard about this father and son about two years ago. It's inspiring not only to strive to be a good parent, but his son demonstarates the strength and will not to give up. There are times in life that we want to throw in the towel, these two remind you nothing is impossible and not to let our shortcomings stand in the way of living.

Although I've seen this before, thanks Steve for posting it here - it's a good reminder.
