Anyone have any recommendations? Im currently looking at this one

http://www.guitarcenter.com/Ibanez-SGT122-SAGE-SERIES-12--String-Acoustic-Guitar-512328-i1172553.gc

I figure Ibanez hasnt done me wrong by my AS73. So, even though this is a less than 200 dollar guitar, I would figure that the quality would still be there.

Ill prolly go and check one of these out this weekend.

Rob, I was gonna recommend finding an old Yammy, I have a beater one I found in a local pawn for $150, cosmetically a mess but sounds very nice and really PROJECTS-- I've played it un-mic'd in a church, with a keyboard going through the PA, and could still be heard.

Anyhow, Steve's friend has one for sale, so I'd check it out!

A quality music store near me has a beautiful Samick 12 string acoustic with a laminated spruce top for 200 and something, new. I've played it several times and it is sweet and sounds better to me than the Yamaha's they have that cost twice as much. Full, round, resonant, with great chord definition. Acoustic only; not acoustic electric.

The laminated top can be a good thing in some ways; like durability. They don't crack like the solid tops can, nearly as easily.

These sound super great. You might think so too.

I will probably get one some day.

I want to play my Seagull 20th aniv solid spruce top with flammed maple sides and back. It's named "Blondy". Sounds great.

A twelve string would be a sweet addition.
