Im thinking of getting a Dano FAB metal, was wondering if anyone has or has tried one. I'm aiming to get a little pedal board going and have a Vox BigBen OD and Dano Cool Cat Chorus - Im after a harder distortion to put after the OD. I suppose I'd like a nice solid metal case but it wont be getting gigged (the odd jam night maybe) and will be mainly home use into AD30 or sometimes toneport. Worth a look or should I look at something a bit more solid (I worry about flimsy plastic cases). Any suggestions welcome

It's a bit flimsy, but the tone I get from my FAB Distortion is pretty awesome.

Well, you seem to be asking about a specific fab pedal rather than all of them. I can only speak for the OD-2, which is a nice little pedal. Kind of bottom-heavy, but can put out a nice smooth overdrive and has mucho boosto.

Hard to beat for the price!

Hmmm - I just stuck my neck out and bagged a Dano Fab-Tone distortion off ebay, ex demo and in really nice condition. I listend to a few youtube clips and it sounded nice, so I took a gamble. £16 isnt much more than a brand new fab. Review when it arrives
