Thanks guys.
It's fun and challenging to do. Especially to not have the end result sound too cheesy.

Hey Spoudman good job. I am a little new to this, is this a backing track and you dub over the guitar and vocals? It sounded like a full big band backing you, including horns and organ.
I would appreciate it if you give some of the details.
Thanks

Go to http://www.thefret.net/forumdisplay.php?f=20 and wander through the backing tracks, find something that you like and load that onto a track in your recording software and then fit yourself in wherever you feel like on the other tracks.

I'll remember that when I switch to the Imperial system.

It must be that extra large middle finger I have. Causes a lot of typos, but is good for many other things. Sorry about that. I bet you never heard of Idaho Spouds. We have them in Prince Edward Island. LOL That is our Potato Province.
I will check out the Backing tracks.. I down loaded all the ones from the Guitar Center Blues. They are alot of fun to play over.
Funny I was just seasoning some Spouds for dinner. Duhhh.

I am not into home recording so I didn't go to this portion of the Fret Net.
I didn't realize there were so many backing tracks. I have down loaded a lot of the more bluesier ones and several Trower and Clapton style tracks.
This is a great resource. I have all of the Guitar Center blues tracks as well.
I will definitely visit this area more.
