Man, wish that was longer. Gorgeous playing and tone. Is that all neck position in the first lead part or is there something out of phase happening? What did you do in the second lead part, where it gets nasty?

Actually it was all one take with the tele lead pu. (DiMarzio Area T)
When it goes to the 2nd groove I played w/ my fingers (digging in) so that's what you're hearing.

I mic'd the amp w/ an audix i5.
Using DP5. Some verb and delay.
Recorded at very low volume. ( apt living ; )

Everything one should expect from a seemingly seasoned pro. Very well done!

It's weird, I have just been listening to Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop (I love synth) and this track wouldn't actually be lost on that album! I hope you don't take offense to that - I think Jeff Beck is awesome! In any case, it was a compliment.
