Hey there!
This week I have a sample solo for you to learn using the Dorian Mode that we have worked on for the last few lessons...I've used the solo from a live recording of one of my songs called "December" to demonstrate how I would apply the Dorian Mode and the Minor Pentatonic scale in a rock song....

I have a lot of fun playing with backing tracks and posting them so I though I would inaugurate the new message board on my site with a little contest. I have a backing track of just the solo section of "December" for you to download and record a solo over...we can post the takes on my site and have everyone vote for a winner...no giant prizes but I'll send free copies of my book "Foundations for Guitar" to the three contestants that get the most votes!
