I find myself in dire need of a travel guitar that can tolerate tents and desert, so I just ordered a Steinberger Spirit.
A buddy of mine and I shared one for several years, but he retired and moved away and took his Steinberger with him.
The Spirit is nothing fancy, but when you're isolated in the desert and there's nothing to do but work or sleep, it's sanity incarnate - and it's nice and compact. :D
I think I'm going to buy the little Line 6 bean to go with it.
